Here we have a very rare,mint unrestored 1967 Pontiac Executive Hardtop Coupe. With only 6,900 of this model made it is certainly the best car of its type in Australia and possible the world. We have done many searchs through car clubs ,google yahoo etc throughout Australia and overseas and cant even find one listed , except a few 4 doors and wagons , only found 1 coupe which was a parts car. The Pontiac Executive was  an automobile model produced by the Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors from 1967 to 1970.

The executive name replaced Pontiac's long running mid-range Star Chief , beginning in the 1966 model year when all pontiacs in this range were named Star Chief Executive for this one  year  only, before the model simply became the Executive in 1967 . Executives featured more deluxe trim,more standard amenities and a longer wheelbase and overall lenght than the lower priced Catalina models , but were not quite as luxurious as the top line Bonneville , whose wheelbase and other dimensions the Executive shared.

An absolute time capsule , this example was sourced from the original owner and has travelled just 45,600 miles since new. They never drove it in the winter,storing her in a heated garage. Completely unrestored,other than some mechanically refreshing,this Executive has been incredibly preserved,has no rust and all chrome and bright work is in mint condition.The original paint finish,while showing some chips and scratches ,still has good lustre and the original hub caps are unmarked. The interior presents as new,with all stainless trim and gauges etc,as though they had just come off the production line.According to the original owner , the back seat has only been sat on once or twice !

Fitted with the original 400 cu-in 265 HP V8 motor and the venerable TH 400 gearbox , other options include power steering and power assisted brakes. As mentioned above, the engine has had the rear main seal,the sump gasket and vavle cover gaskets replaced. While the engine was out, it has been repainted and refreshed to original specs. This is a car you will not need to spend a cent on. Car has been completely rust proofed ,no rust from new.

All the original documentation comes with the car,including the owners manual,original A title,warranty book and Protecto-plate. For many years only driven as a Sunday drive car , 4-5 months a year ,this gorgeous and rare US classic will be the highlight of any car show.Can be fully registered in all states .

All instruments work including clock,radio,heater etc .
